Texas Bar-B-Q Food Tour

Location: Texas Bar-B-Q Food Tour

The tour stops at three of the top six award winning barbecue (Bar-B-Q) restaurants in Fort Worth/Dallas, rated by D Magazine story by Daniel Vaughn. At each restaurant you will savor their signature barbecue (Bar-B-Q). If the pitmaster can break away from the fire, he will join us for a Q&A. It is fascinating to hear about their choices of wood, meats and cooking temperatures. As we drive through the city, you will hear the history of Fort Worth/Dallas. We will point out restaurants, landmarks and places of interest. You will see the Water Gardens, Sundance Square, The Historic Stockyards and many more sites.

You will have the opportunity to visit some of the world-famous museums located in the Cultural District of Fort Worth. The Kimbell Art Museum is internationally renowned for both its collections and for its architecture. The Kimbell's collections range in period from antiquity to the 20th century and include European masterpieces by Fra Angelico, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Poussin, Monet, Picasso and Matisse. Closing Event

JFK History Tour

Shortly after noon on November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated as he rode in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas. This tour will start off at Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. The 90-minute tour includes multimedia audio guide.

Idea Exchange

The Idea Exchange has been one of the most popular events of the Factoring Conference.  This event brings together small groups who have a common interest in a particular issue. Over the course of the morning, they explore continuing and emerging opportunities and issues in an environment that provides informal opportunities for sharing ideas.
